Setting out. “The idea
of being my own boss had always appealed to me–and by opening
my own beauty salon, I am now making it come true. When I was working
for someone else, I would often think up better ways of doing things.
My boss was sometimes receptive–and sometimes not. We’ll
now see whether my ideas are any good. Of course I have a business
plan and my finances are under control. I am confident of establishing
a steady source of regular customers fairly rapidly if I run my business
well–which of course I will! Many of my friends and other acquaintances
have promised to come by. I am sure that I’ll also have walk-in
customers as my studio is in an ideal location in the centre of Antwerp.
